Hi guys,

My M20 B20 engine has decided to start to blow smoke under load when it is cold. I am concerned that there may not be a lot of life left in the motor. I have done the ring around and found prices on rebuilt engines. They varied dramatically.

One BMW parts place suggested putting in a 2.3 Litre M20. I have no idea what this would do for fuel consumption and power. I would probably prefer to keep to the orignal 2.0 litre motor. Any Suggestions
