If you don't mind my asking, what are you looking at spending? I have a 1987 528e for sale which has 110K miles, is bronzit exterior with a tan leather interior. The items listed as weak areas of these cars are not a problem on mine. It has a 5 speed, Sony removeable-face AM/FM/Cassette, I have given the car METICILOUS service since I bought it in November of 1999 at 87K miles. I replaced the timing belt in October of 2000, there is no vibration, steering looseness, oily shocks, cracks sunroof problems, does NOT have TRX tires, ect.

The only two drawbacks are the instant fuel econo-meter guage is inop, the paint is a 8.0 out of 10 and the interior is a 9.0 out of 10.

It is my daily driver and I put about 350 miles/week on it. If you might be interested, I am asking $5500 and I would be glad to email you pictures of it. I live in a suburb of Atlanta, GA.
