But seriously, your problem could be so many things. My M535i had a bad hestitation problem once turned out to be the fuel transfer pump.

I will be at about 3500 RPM and let off the clutch and the car will jolt, not smooth while slowing down. This is in my 86 535i. Any ideas. Thanks
