Most hesitation problems are linked to fuel delivery problems (in both aviation and in BMWs). Check filter, and both secondary and main fuel pumps. This can make a night and day difference.

May I also sell you some new tires, driveline, diff, and clutch for yours when dropping the clutch at 3500 RPM kills all of the above??? I'm sure I could work out a deal...
