I'm not sure I understand the (recent?) facination with clear turn signals. Can somebody please explain this to me? Was this a euro option or something? I thought the multicolored rear tail lights on the e12 and e28 were "revolutionary" for their time.

It looks cooler. At least it does to me considering all my friends have Honda's with clear tailights too.
