I bought a very similar car except it was an 87 with 199k. It seems like most of the common wear items with these cars was replaced on the one you are looking at. My car had the same items replaced and also had bilstiens. The paint on these cars i have determind from looking at many does not hold up well, so my car having poor paint was expected. It does run and drive excellent and has no rust. My car has all records from new etc. I paid $4000 and felt that that was an even deal. So about $4500 seems right to me. I would say that you could use it everyday. Why not. I am not of legal driving age yet and this is my first car. I am expecting to drive it for many years. All mine needs is a new paint job which is in the works and some interior work. If i were you i would get the car checked out by a mechanic before you buy. A mechanic can tell you all you need to know.
