But that thing matched my 535is on the dyno and maybe had just a little more... and my car only had 101K on it.
These motors can go a long way if they're takin care of. To bad the trannys get so balky. BMW should have stuck with the old synchro rings.
88 535is..220k..has records. New Clutch, shocks, springs, bushings and more; interior clean, paint good with minor scratches. All amenities work except headrests(sounds common)...rims have been changed to non-TRX. Wants $4500. The questions: is 220K still got a lot of life left in it? What should a good compression result be for this engine? What kind of annual maintenance costs have you guys experienced(I have had Audis, so I am used to higher costs...) Can I use this everyday? Any other answers/opinions welcome.....thanks....
