I played "Redlight Rambo" the other night with a new US spec WRX. According to one of this month's Auto Rags, this car has a 0-60 time in the low sixes. Well, we stayed even for a LONG way until I let discretion be the better part of valor and slowed down to get on the side road I live on.

OK- I didn't beat him, but I paid $3800 cash for my car and have the title. This kid owes a bank probably $25K for a car that can't outrun my sixteen year old BMW. (Won't outLAST it either!)Who got the better value?

I plead insanity. I'm CRAZY about my old 535i!
