Morning fellow "Board Members", got a slight problem heah. Took my '88 535is to my mechanic a couple of months ago with a high idle complaint(idled at about 1100rpm in neutral or when clutch is depressed but drops back within limits when in gear). All seemed ok until this past week....it's baaaaaack. The car is usually garaged and I drive it on average about once weekly. What do you think the problem is? Some say it's not driven often enough but I say that shouldn't matter. Not seriously, mechanically inclined but if it's something not too taxing try fix myself otherwise I'll give my mechanic another try at it. Thanks-be-to-all, Charles

I have the same problem with my 87 528e. If you find a solution please let me know.THanks.
