There are several often asked questions on the forum, and surely tire sizes that will fit our E28's must be at the top of the list as most frequently asked. That's not a bad thing, but this information is actually readily available to everyone that wants it.

Tire Rack has one of the most extensive tire data bases on line that I know of. Logging on to their web site and searching for tires by size can take you to each tire brand and model within brands that anyone is likely to use on ANY E28 no matter what each individual is likely to use it for.

More interesting is the "specs" link for each tire model that lists every size tire offered for that model tire, including mounted dimensions, static radius, revolutions per mile, tread, and cross section width.

I've posted an example below as a link, take a look at this rich source of information, it's where I go to discover something new in tires when necessary.
