new pump scottie all the fluids are clean
its coming from the shock towers turning the wheel
and rolling around the driveway i just checked it again.its a stretchin, rubbing, non metalic groan
when you the turn the wheel thanks for the feedback BSAndy 84 533i
Probably your power steering pump. But this has been linked to a dirty steering fluid filter. The filter is located at the bottom of your fluid reserve can. You will need to drain the fluid.
Good luck!
Scottie

for the bormann6, it was a right strut bearing, groaning for grease. i redid the strut and replaced the bearing. it sounded horrible, but it wasnt dangerous
