my first car was a brand new Cavalier my dad bought when I first got my license and I sideswiped a bridge on purpose so he'd have to sell it and buy me a cooler car. I though I could talk him into a new Honda which I was going to slam and install a turbo.

That's how I got my first BMW (a 528e). My dad wanted me to have a "safe" (BORING) car. I hated the looks but actually liked the handling. I totalled it racing Mustangs. Went thru 2 clutches and a head (threw the timing belt downshifting into 2nd way too fast-OOPS), but it was so slow that I totalled it braking too late into a corner to wipe another Ford ass. I told my dad it was totally his fault for thinking slow cars are safer.

Finally he got me a 535 and I added a bunch of goodies (cam/Nitrous/high pressure fuel regulator/headers). Now I can drive fast safely and I haven't had an accident since then. No Mustang in town will challange me anymore in fact. I am 19 and a really good driver cuz of that car.

Mike, please tell me you are making this up. You crashed the first car Daddy bought you ON PURPOSE, so Daddy would have to buy you another one you liked better? Have you no self respect?

If you were my kid, I'd send you packing to work the McDonald's drive thru and save your own damn money for a replacement car. After kicking you out of the house, of course.
