Our reaction times are much faster than old guys reactions. Thats why we are better drivers fast.

If my dad even tried to drive like me or my friends, he'd be dead.

Why do you think old guys on the NASCAR circuit seldom win?

No nerve, and lousey reactions!

I always wondered why car insurance for teens is so expesive. Maybe someday I'll figure it out.

528e are WAY to slow. Guys want FAST cars, and even a 535i in stock form is a bit of a slug unless you modify it. He'll be a joke among his buddies and thats bad.

Get him a nice 535 and some NO2, or he will crash the 528e either because he hates it or because he brakes too late trying to beat Mustangs like I did. I wiped a few Ford asses before I totalled it, but thank God for stout German cars!

my first car was a brand new Cavalier my dad bought when I first got my license and I sideswiped a bridge on purpose so he'd have to sell it and buy me a cooler car. I though I could talk him into a new Honda which I was going to slam and install a turbo.

That's how I got my first BMW (a 528e). My dad wanted me to have a "safe" (BORING) car. I hated the looks but actually liked the handling. I totalled it racing Mustangs. Went thru 2 clutches and a head (threw the timing belt downshifting into 2nd way too fast-OOPS), but it was so slow that I totalled it braking too late into a corner to wipe another Ford ass. I told my dad it was totally his fault for thinking slow cars are safer.

Finally he got me a 535 and I added a bunch of goodies (cam/Nitrous/high pressure fuel regulator/headers). Now I can drive fast safely and I haven't had an accident since then. No Mustang in town will challange me anymore in fact. I am 19 and a really good driver cuz of that car.
