Going by memory, but here it is. You need a fairly long, flat-bladed screwdriver. Look through the grill near the hood release up pretty high you should see a spring and a metal latch. Use the screwdriver to lever the latch towards the passenger side of the car. That should do it. Good luck.

in addition to Chris's advice you may need to remove the left 1/2 of the grill to access the release
