First of all, Check the fitment of the trunk gasket against the trunk, to keep the lid from rattling this fitment must be tight. Then tighten down everything!! Dynamat pretty much any large metal surface(including the trunklid) except the back of the back seat. If you do that panel, you will never hear the bass inside the car unless you vent the rear deck- a situation I am resolving as we speak. I just put 2 10" Polk MOMO's with Soundstream amplifiers in my trunk and finished it out really well, false floor, inverted drivers, finished out the whole trunk. I'll have pictures in a couple of days if you'd like to see. There you have it, My $.02.

I just installed 2 15" MTX 5000 Subwoofers with a Crunch V-6004 that gives them 1200 watts and all you can hear outside is rattles and if you turn it really up you can even hear it inside. The rattling in the trunk is mostly on the sides of the trunk. If anyone could tell me what to bolt down really tight or what is the cheapest sound deadening material because I am really short on cash right now. Thanks
