Mine has 435,000 miles on it and it runs great. I don't think I have the original engine because Compression numbers are like almost new, all my bearing surfaces on the lower assembly are in perfect shape and the block is stamped w/ the marking 3.5/3.8. It also will dust my friends 533i that I know is original too. and he only has 265,xxx miles on his.
