Changing Belts.....Need Help.. (archive)

Hey all,

Decided to change the belts (A/C, Main Belt, and power steering) on my '83 528e. Well I got the main belt off with no problem, but can't take it off without removing the power steering belt first. This is where my problem is. I got under the vehicle and began turning the adjusting bolt on the power steering pump, but to no avail it has not budged and the tension in the belt is still tight. Am I missing something? Is there other bolts to loosen? Please if anyone knows how to get this belt off it would be much appreciated. Sorry about the long post.
