Please no flames on this, just sharing my experience. I have a 84 528eA and at approx. 100,000 kms or 62,000 miles when operating in hot conditions with the air on, my 528's temp needle would make it's way to the red. I broke down and added Slick 50. Never a temperature spike since. Vehicle has 130,000 kms on it now and is only driven May to Nov. 1 Runs mint.

Previously, I added Slick to my 88 Linclon Town Car and the temp needle went south after 30 minutes of driving. That was 150,000 kms ago. It's the winter car now and finally my wife made me put a different thermostat in it to increase the temp. Car has 300,000 kms on a 302 and it blows no oil. Just leaks, hehe.

Other experience was with my C-Class Motorhome with a 460 (Ford). I was always running in the danger Zone on the temp gauge and then went with Slick 50 and the motor cooled right down. It's also only run in warm weather.

Not a Slick 50 salesman, just reporting my experience.
