You should have no problem with the rings, they are to aid in centering the wheel due to the use of lug bolts instead of studs. Wheels are very difficult to put on straight with bolts.Pat Hines
I'm finally getting the E39 wheels (and new tires) installed on my E28. Got a set of hubcentric rings from Tirerack but I'm wondering, are these rings durable. They look rather flimsly. Will they need to be replaced in the future? Also, any recomendations on what to use to attach the rings to the wheels. I read where JB-weld was used. TIA.
