As you can see, I have the Cardinal Red sport seats as well, in a Lachsilber '87 535is. I'm planning to use something like Leatherique to re-surface my seats. It will be some work, but I'd like to see if I can produce results with this system.

Optionally, one can simply buy new seat covers from several sources, advertisers in Roundel, and have them installed on the original seats by a professional. Much more expensive, and a second choice for me.

Do an archive search on leatherique, there was a series of how-to articles.

Pat

Looking for an average cost on someone selling me their uncracked, good condition cardinal red (late 86-88) rear leather seat bottom.

Anyone got one they'd be willing to part with for cheap? Or is that a loaded question? :)

Anyone have any idea what they go for? Parts yards seem to be devoid of this kinda stuff...so who has one laying around or has seen one?

Thanks

Sam
