All the Bosch CSI (Jetronic K) systems I have seen, have a control pressure regulator. The purpose of the regulator is to vary the mixture dependent on the temp and vacuum of the engine. It is connected to the fuel distributor by a pair of small diameter fuel lines and is generally bolted to the block. It contains a bimetalic spring and a vacuum diaphram. Using fuel pressure gauges the control pressure can be checked at current engine temp and rpm. My bently manual for my old VW Sirocco had a nice diagnostic section. Might be easiest to get a wrecking yard replacement and give it a try. The Regulator on my Audi 5000 went out and the car ran very badly when cold ... no power, stumbling. Replacing the control pressure regulator worked wonders. Give it a try.
