the new one is the top half. unscrew it
turn it over, and change one terminal at a time
it color coded.clean the ends and repair the
bad ones.this type of fuse is fine if the tang
things are not bent.spin the fuses once a year
to reseat the soft ends.
I bought a new one from Zygmunt and replaced
the orig.about 65 bucks and it took about
two hours to complete the job. now thats it over
it wasnt that bad. start off with a good chair
the new box has been flawless for a year now.
good luck BSAndy 84 533iHas anyone tried replacing the original fuse boxes on these old 5 series cars with a more modern fuse box? I know Ed Teller has an article on his site discussing adding an auxilary box, but I'd like to replace the whole thing instead.
