Hi Guys,

Until last week my 533i ran like a top. Now it won't start (most of the time.) Sometimes if I crank for a while (a long, long while; usually by now I am on jumper cables) the engine will start and will run perfectly (accelerates great, pull OK, runs smoothly.) If I switch off and let it sit for any length of time it won't start.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Nigel

Nigel, when the car is has been sitting for a while and is hard to star better check on your fuel pump check valv, what it does is keep the 36 lbs. of fuel in the system, other wise you need to crank the car till rish the pression.

Good lock body
