Yes it works. Mine is not connected and I am not sure what circuit it is linked to. I would suggest just leaving it unconnected. The Service Indicator is probably a problem with the SI board batteries or something along those lines.

Does your Service Indicator work? Mine doesn't, and I was contemplating connecting it to see if that was it. No matter what, however, I won't connect it for awhile, since I've got other repairs to do, and there's nothing worse than being the cause of your own demise.

But I was interested to know what was happening, if you know what I mean. Thanks for your input.
