Check and clean the throttle body and Idle Control Valve with carb cleaner then make sure the throttle switch and accelerator cable are adjusted correctly. The cable should have a teeney bit of "slack" in it and the switch should "click" upon the slightest opening of the throttle. Give that a try and let me know if it helps.
