I have a clunk too... (archive)

I seem to have a similar problem (see post below, sorry for posting it the wrong way) with my 525i automatic. There is a clunk when the tranny downshifts or when I let go of the gas and then accelerate again. It doesn't do this when upshifting. Also when the brakes are on and I put it in drive or reverse, there's no clunk.

Maybe the mount is at fault here too?
