The only thing he did was the seat covers, the alternator and the battery. I did everything else. You can not expect to get out of a car what you put into it, which is why I sold it for only $3100. I think his $3400 is probably pretty fair.

With those add-ons that he put on plus your original asking price why shouldn't he be asking for more? If I knew I could sell my car and rebuy it cheaper and make a few hundred off of the whole deal, I'd quit work and go into business doing just that.
