Didn't want to start a religious discussion. I have been very happy with Michelins for 42 years, except perhaps with the TRX's. I've had a couple of sets of Yoko's, mediocre at best in my experience. A set of Pirelli's, a disaster. A set of BFG: I didn't really like dangling from my seat belt watching the roof of my '66 Mustang crush in when Michelins would have held just fine. Of course, tire models and technologies change over the years, so what was bad for me then could be good now. Looking again at the specs, the MXV4's are clearly not a good choice. Will look to the Pilot series, I guess. Thanks much for the input...I would certainly consider the suggestions if I were not so stuck on Michelin.Jerry
..... However, why in the world would you want to get MXV4's? They are, IMHO, crappy tires that are WAY too expensive. If you want something sticky, go with the Yokohama AVS-I. If you want something that'll last, I recommend the BFG Comp TA HR4. ..........
