Yes, but she's in Indiana, where they can't figure out why you'd ever want to turn right on a racetrack :-)

Our chapter hosts a Car Control Clinic as a preliminary event, a couple of weeks before each spring's driving school. There's a short slalom course and a wet skid pad. It's also the pre-school tech inspection, with lots of time standing around looking at each other's cars and making pleasant chit-chat.

Lauri got to ride with a Y-chromosome-deficient instructor. Something about full throttle and threshhold braking and squealing tires, but in a safe controlled environment with no testosterone in the car, got her hooked.
