According to the Bentley manual (get yours now!), the flasher unit is within the steering column trim, and is grounded directly to two places: at the top of the steering column, and above the brake pedal (via one of the connectors to the left of the steering column).

The front turn signal lights are grounded to the main ground near the battery. The rear turn signals are grounded under the rear seat, to the left.

The turn signal indicators in the instrument cluster are grounded above the brake pedal, at the same point as the flasher.

All the grounds wires are brown.

The power for the turn signals comes via fuse 11, and it goes through the hazard switch. (That's right- if you unplug the hazard switch your turn signals won't work!)

Things to try:
-Clean the grounds, bulbs, sockets, etc. Removing the rear seat cushion to access that ground isn't that big of a deal- undo the bolt above the driveshaft tunnel and pull up.
-Unplug and reseat the connectors just to the left of the steering column.
-Unplug and reseat the hazard switch, turn signal switch, and flasher.
-If you have an ohmmeter handy, unplug the turn signal switch and the hazard switch, and test them.
The turn signal switch should have continuity between pins 54 (green & yellow wire) and BR (blue and black wire) when a right turn is indicated.
The hazard switch should have continuity between pins 15 (violet & black wire) and 49 (green & violet wire) when the button is not pressed (no hazard).

Warning: The Bentley manual is known to contain errors (indispensible though it is), and I have not verified any of the above on my own car. Except that if the hazard switch is unplugged you'll have no turn signals. Take it from me, that much is definitely true.
Hope this helps.

My right turn signal is intermittant. Bulbs are OK, as are bulb contacts. Once in a while, it starts blinking really fast, as if a bulb had blown, but both bulbs are blinking. Anyone know how they are grounded to finish the circuit?

Thanks, Samir.
