Just replaced the 390 mm (22mm offset) wheels on my '86 535i with 15 x 7, 20mm offset. Have 205/65HR15's on there now. Clearance seems good. Am putting on new tires, either 215/60HR15 or 205/60HR15. The 205's are a good match to the original TRX overall, but consensus seems to be to go with the 215's. Any known problems? Use: around town little-old-lady style and highway cruising below 80MPH.
