Thanks Bob, I'll contact Steve on Monday and hope it's not too much of a task to R&R. Thanks again,SmittY

Morning fellow Board Members, I've been experiencing an incident with a warning light on my '88 535is. Everytime I apply the brake the brake warning light on the instrument panel flashes on but immediately goes out. I've pump the brakes then checked to ensure the reservoir is at the proper level but the light still flashes on then off. Have any of you had similiar experiences and know what the deal is/might be. Any suggestions/recommendations appreciated. Thanks, SmittY

Brake accumulator has failed. Its teh black "Bomb" like thing hang from the pwoer flow regulator on your driver's firewall.

Brakes should feel very hard in a panic stop then yield toward normal braking with this condition.

$55-85 for the part depending upon where you buy it.

COntact Steve Haygood for the part and R&R instructions. shaygood@alltel.net.

HTH

Bob Duckworth
