Very likely the connector behind the turn signal (archive)

Mine actually had a pin rusted completely off the three pin connector. I fashioned another from a piece of solid copper 12 gauge wire by pounding the wire flat and soldering it to the remaining piece in the connector. Not an easy task, but it worked. No problems since.
