Hey everyone,

I'll be buying a new E28 shortly(if I can find one), and I wanted a 535is. I searched the archives for differences, and here are some questions for you all. Thanks in advance.

-Do all 535is's come with front spoilers? Yes

-Do all 535is's come with body-colored mirrors? No, mine are black

-Do all 535is's come with LSDs? No, mine does not have one, but most did

-Do 535is's have ///M on the instrument cluster? No, they had a stock 535i instruments

-What is different about the 535is suspension? Specifically valved Bilstein struts & shocks were fitted.

-How is the ECU different in the 535is? It's not different, the engine is identical in every way to the 535i.

The 535is also had the M-tech rear spoiler, same as the M5; and sport seats, most were electrically adjusted.
