Never thought I would do two posts on the same day, but here I am.

In March, a run away dump truck (no brakes on a long down hill), hit the car behind me, which hit my Passat. I hit the brakes, (at the end, they locked, even with that huge Kenworth and a load of dirt), and steered towards the shoulder, trying to avoid being crunched under the huge SUV in front of me.

My car rotated about 30 degrees or so before I hit the SUV, and when it did, I rolled. The first roll was fun, kind of like a Nascar video game or something. The second scared the hell out of me, and the third roll left me thinking I was going to die out there.

The point I am making is that you can roll anytime, anywhere, even if you are in a long line of cars going 45 downhill in a single file line.

I am off today, because I have a Physical Therapy appointment. The drivers window was open, and my hand kind of flew out of the car, then got flattened by my car. I pulled it back in before the third roll.

BTW, I could still open all four doors of the Passat afterwards.
