Sorry to be wasting more bandwidth when I already said I wouldn't, but let me just say one more thing that I forgot to mention in my post a minute ago.

I took the V1 out again last night, and I found several things. There was one location at a stoplight on the way to Wal-Mart that must have had some kind of radar somewhere around it. On the way to AND from it, I was stopped at the light, and the V1 was saying that there was K-band to my side, kind of far off. I might take it out today or tomorrow and follow the signal to see what it is. I'm just curious what it is.

Another thing: automatic doors. Around our Wal-Mart is a Sam's Club, a Toys R Us, and a mini mall. Every one of them has automatic doors. Sam's was closed at the time I passed it, so I drove through the empty parking lot right up to the doors just to see the V1 go INSANE. It probably thought it was WW3, lol, you don't understand HOW much this thing was wiggin' out on me.

At a few points on the strip of stores, the V1 registered up to 9 bogeys, K and X-band. I determined that most of the doors are X-band. It's older, much more wider, and probably cheaper for the stores to use for automatic doors than are K-band radars. Wal-Mart, though, probably with their higher revenues, has K-band auto doors. Perhaps K-band doors are a bit more reliable? Since it's better radar, I'm sure it's slightly more expensive.

One last thing: when I passed by McDonald's, I got no warnings at ALL. I doubt there are any restaurants in town that have radar. I'm sure they just have cameras. When the V1 gets hardwired, I'm sure I'll find out which stores have radar and which don't.

Ok, enough about the V1. I'm going to leave it alone now.

Have a good weekend, everyone!
