y-pipe after cat to 2.5 inch pipe....on to 20 resonator...then to stainless dyna flow with dual outlet tip....
sounds great,..especially above 3500rpm...cost ...$300.00

In the process of having a way too many times patched catalytic converter on '86 535i replaced with a new Maremont unit # 56906 courtesy of Midas.

Not sure of quality or results compared to more common DEC catalytic converter but the Midas shop offered to match the price. The converter does not have a separate resonator like the DEC or OEM but appears to be well made. COMMENTS?

The PO had installed a round Bosal rear muffler with center muffler(one-piece).

The two pipes from the catalytic converter to the rear exhaust are rather small diameter.

What sort of exhaust setups are YOU using?

More importantly which offers the most BANG FOR BUCK? Custom or otherwise without spending too much?

Any experince with Metric Mechanic's system?
