Hmmm...well it seems you are at least getting a change!That's good. That would indicate an alignment problem rather than U-jounts, sub-frame, etc.

I would try shimming the opposite way. Shim the trans mount LOWER. Use the washer trick to effectively lower trans by placing the washers between the trans mount and chassis. If that works then I would make a rectangular shim to match the mount.It sounds like you're in the hunt though.
