Over the years I've found jacking the front at the steering/frame connector(right in front of the oil pan..gently) is the best place to jack. Both sides go up together. I place jack stands on the frame rail behind the front tires. In the back, I jack up the differential(gently) and place jack stands on the subframe near the rear wheels. I jack the front first, then the back, and always leave the jack set-up at one end...just for safety.

good luck,

What's the best way to raise the front of the car and rest it on jack stands ? What's the best palcement of the stands ? Thanks
