... if the point is to induce turbulence and therefore better fuel/air mixing or less restriction (slightly turbulent air turns corners better), there is already enough turbulence in the intake tract to take care of that. Look at the one over the carburetor -- the turbulence caused by this thing is outweighed by the restriction it causes so close to the carb intake.

OK I found the magazine ad, so I went to the web page, started reading and thought, right!! its a piece of tin obstructing the air path, then I found these links to Mercedes, Infinity, .... swirl tech improvements, then these crazy Dyno charted testimonials,
36 hp in an 86 Sable,
28 hp in a Chevy 4.3 TBI.
some guy w/ a 325es claims 10-15%
two guys w/ Z3 1.9s claim 10hp.
What the F----
Has any one shelled out the dough for this just to see if its crap or not?
I'm having a tough time believing I could cut up a couple soupcan lids, shove 'em in my intake tube and get 20 hp in my 535is.
