OK-
I guess the North American educational system has utterly failed me. I consider accurate spelling, sentences with clear (if not proper) syntax, and a logical flow to paragraph construction somewhat essential to the communication of complex ideas.
Maybe the nuns were too hard on me, expecting me to know "i before e, except after c" and carry it on into adulthood. I should still = be able to conjugate the verb "to be" and use it in a sentence if I can remember that kind of 'small stuff'. Maybe I'll even practice using those subject-verb-object construction sentences.
But then again, it's all petty shit, right? Perhaps I shouldn't give a damn as to what valve lash to set, how much oil to put in, or even to keep air in all four tires. Hell, three's close enough...why aim for perfection at four tires?
Sloppy words are an indicator of a sloppy thought process.
I've got my Jesuit education and my Nomex flame-proof undies on, so I can take what any respondent can dish out.
