Actually, it is all pretty standard stuff. Dave's page was very helpful, though, particularly for the pedal box installation (the tip to remove the steering column is key) and for highlighting the fact that you need to have the shifter bracket cut off the donor car. And for giving me the idea that it could be done!
Other than installing the pedal box and shifter bracket, the job is no more difficult or involved than changing the clutch. All the same stuff.

What kind of tech docs did you use? I'm looking to do that on an '86 528e and I'm guessing the Bentley isn't going to cover that. ;)
