Has anyone installed a dead pedal? (archive)

I have seen BMPs' dead pedals as well as the $chnitzer ones. I wonder if anyone has installed one for another make that is less expensive but fits. Anyone??? I have aluminum pedals, and want to add a dead pedal too.
