a Jim C chip and swap out the rear for a 3.25 or so.
Cone filters are kid's stuff, in my book.
Short shift is ok, but hard on aging synchros.

I was looking for a reliable daily driver to keep the miles off my M3 and found a friend-of-a-friend selling a '87 528e in showroom condition.

Any suggestions on where to go for more information on the car (is there a good FAQ or etc)? Any suggestions on modifications (grin)? I'm already thinking TMS/Conforti chip, Cone Filter kit, and UUC short-shift kit.

Thanks,

~jedinite
