Here is what I did...
Off of eBay, I bought a BMW Business Stereo cassette from a 1999 Z3 Coupe, for about $100. This fits fine but you also need to buy adapters from any BMW dealer(about $75). I bought mine from Circle BMW. They
know the adapter numbers. You get rid of the Thumb wheel fader and get a factory look, look!

Anybody know how to wire a cd ready stock BMW radio unit KE-83 to an e28? The IGN, GND, and PWRANT connectors are the same, but the speaker connections are slightly different and the other power connection is alltogether different. I have seen this unit in an e28 and am hoping someone has BTDT.
