I sold my 535is for $7200. It was alot of money, but I had an extensive list of new items on the car. One of them was a brand new head. It also had the super duper head gasket, M5 wheels, and lots more. Although mine had a salvage title and I was able to trick the buyer into thinking it didn't, I would say I did well.. Only Kidding John! Gotcha!

I would say, check the car out. Have a leakdown and compression test done. Valves should be quiet and idle should be smoothe. You should be able to light up the wheels in 1st gear with ease. Look inside the oil cap with a MagLite. Does it look clean and new or all gunked up?? Pull a spark plug and check the air filter. These are easy ways to tell if the car has at least had some of the basic stuff done...
