Tim and I got into a yelling match over the price haggling, and he reminded me that I was in the middle of nowhere New Jersey, and nobody would find the body. Thus, I bought the car. Bastard.

Seriously, that is a hefty sum of money for this car - it's in the upper range of the non-garage queen group. I didn't see the mileage. If you are going to spend that amount, spend $100 and get it checked out - you'll be amazed at what a good shop will tell you. Leakdown test is mandatory. Of course, I didn't do that, but re-read the first paragraph. I did pay a chunk of change, but the engine was the smoothest I'd driven (new head), it has the M5 16" rim upgrade, color/trans I wanted, and the interior is also above average for the age.

If the buyer holds steady at $7.5k, I'd really get it checked out, just to make sure what you have.

Good luck!
