The forged aluminum arms are available on ebay for $140 a set including bushings. Another alternative is to visit wwww.fpcgroton.com, they are the ones that sell them on ebay and will happily ship them to you. I bought a set for my E28 and a set for my E34. Regardless of their impact on performance (less unsprung weight is a good thing), they are inexpensive enough to be a no brainer if you need a new set.

Now if you were considering paying the BMW dealer's inflated prices, they are not worth that amount of money...
