i've installed sets on both of my e28s without using the euro harness - specifically the euro connectors. i was easily able to modify the existing connectors to connect to the euro lights with the sealing caps on. one set came with the rubber caps and one didn't. i was able to run the wires through the rubber caps without cutting any wires. the nice thing is that if i want to sell the car and keep the euro lights, i can switch back to stock quickly and witout cutting any wires. if anyones interested, i wrote a small text file detailing my installs and different options. - jeff h
