Use a pipe wrench to remove the old insert nuts.

Just make the new ones VERY tight. Don't worry about getting it exact, you "almost" can't screw it up.

Bob

For those of you that have rebuilt your front ends, I have a few questions (I'm no master mechanic, keep that in mind):
1. Do I need to put some bearing grease in the strut bearings?
2. Do I just use a torque wrench (1/2" drive) with the "special wrench" that bilstein provides to get the shock insert out, is there a special wrench that I need? 3. Do the inserts come out easy?
Thanks for any advice.
